Sometimes life feels like a fixer-upper — especially when the foundation has cracks. In my latest essay, “Renovating a Life with Foundational Issues,” I reflect on the scars that shape us and what it really takes to rebuild with strength, grace and intention. Somehow, I also manage to weave in creeping authoritarianism and a fart joke, so really, there’s something for everyone.
I wanted to let you know that as much as I’d love to give everything away for free, the reality is that creating meaningful work takes time, and time pays for things like food, a home and, yes, therapy.
